Anyone that knows me, knows that I can never satisfy my Drake fix. Unreleased songs and features on major artists tracks are but a tease to a fanatic such as myself. News of the release of So Far Gone, by the actor turnt rappa, turnt sanga, turnt lyrical beast is said to hit streets very soon. An "entertaining" compilation of Drake's personal stories of 2008, is exactly what I want santa to bring me this year.

I have truly been slacking. Dedicating much of my time and neglecting my blogspot which should be a priority o my list used as an avenue to voice my opinion and improve my quality of writing. So with that said ...I'mmmmmm Back! LoL

Young MooLah Baby

The most recent noise from the Young Money crew has been the release of "Gangsta Grillz Presents: Dedication 3" Unlike the past two episodes of the trilogy Dedication 3 seems to be more a showcase of all the lyric talents of the artists affiliated with Wayne's Young Money Ent. My favorite is of course Drizzy who never dissapoints me on a song. I was proud to see that he didn't let the presence of an icon like Carter shake him on the song. His verse on "Stuntin" is in my belief one of his best yet. My other favorite Young Money member is my current favorite female rapper Nicki Minaj. "Still I Rise," is a track done to T.I,'s "No Matter What." A lyrical response to the haters and ney-sayersk, Nicki both spits and harmonizes throughout the 3 minute track. However since its been on her myspace page for a few months now, I would have much rather heard an original track from her, but I guess I will have to remain musically satisfied with the new remixes on her page (Single Ladies & Miss Independent). Other than that I enjoyed listening to the mixtape and its even made me dig into my old compilation and re-appreciate Dedication 1&2. Hopefully in 2009 the world will see what Young Money has to offer.

I know many people do not like or respect this woman but I learn from any situation and all people regardless of their pasts, present situation, or future intentions. With that said I just wanna share a few excerpts from the book that I find both truthful and enlightening. Regardless to whether or not Karrine uses or own advice is not for me to judge I still value her words none the less...

Imma really have to start living like this because at 19 years old, even though I have surpassed much of my peers on the plane of success I still want so much more out of life. Like I always say I got that Diddy syndrome ..."I WILL NOT LOSE!"
